Breastfeeding isn't always as easy as we'd imagined. Sometimes issues arise that make breastfeeding difficult, painful, or challenging for the parent, the baby, or both! Seeking the support of a well trained IBCLC to find the root problem or even to ease your worries, is the first place to start. Sarah is also the collaborating IBCLC with Duke's Cleft and Craniofacial Team.

-possible allergies/elimination diet concerns
-returning to school or work
-nipple shield use
-pumping to supplement
-introduction of solids
IBCLCs are uniquely trained to assist the breastfeeding parent and the baby as a whole. We are the only profession that sees the pair as one and treats you as such. We are also trained on other forms and varieties of feeding methods and you are welcome at our clinic regardless of what you feed your baby. We are here to help!
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice before the appointment, or no shows, will result in a $75 cancellation fee.
