Pre- and Postpartum Wellness

For many of us, the transition into parenthood isn't exactly what we'd expected.  The books and movies make it look so easy and sound so amazing!  Parenthood IS amazing, but it's also very overwhelming.  Sometimes the circumstances can cause us to have difficulty making that transition, which is common due to the extreme hormonal shifts from pregnancy to birth.  We have providers who are in network with most major insurances, to include TRICARE and NC Medicaid.

A referral for Tricare may be required depending on your policy requirements; we recommend that you obtain a referral from your PCM prior to scheduling to avoid any cost-share amounts. For all insurance plans: there may be costs associated with virtual visits that are not seen with in-office visits due to expiring COVID-19 waivers.

Our clinic collaborates with the NC Maternal Mental Health Matters Initiative based out of UNC, of which  we are a preferred provider.

You would benefit from a postpartum wellness assessment if you are feeling any of the following:

-guilt

-fear

-inadequacy

-irrational thoughts

-anger

-anxiety

-OCD tendencies

-inability to fall asleep

-sadness

-grief

-bereavement

You deserve to be happy and you deserve to have a listening ear.

For families experiencing infant/pregnancy loss, we will accommodate you with either the first or the last appointment of the day to minimize your possible triggers.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice before the appointment will result in a $75 cancellation fee.
